Why should I buy a Mate?
The Quoll Medical Mate was designed to allow people to contact assistance when in stressful situations. This could be because of a car breakdown, a medical episode or being lost. At Quoll Medical we believe you should feel confident that your loved one is safe at all times.

Where can I use a Mate?
Being loaded with a Telstra SIM card, your Mate can be used anywhere a mobile phone has reception. Your Mate uses the full Telstra mobile network – not Aldi. It covers 99% of Australia’s population. Your Mate is equipped with the best possible indoor & outdoor mobile signal strength using 4GX with 3G rollback.

When does the Mate trigger an alarm?
An alarm can be automatically triggered by a fall or by being carried out of a specified area. Manual triggering is available by pressing the large button on the front.

Who receives the Mate alarm notifications?
Up to 10 phone numbers can be programmed to receive notification of alarms. This can include friends and family or even 000. Quoll Medical use an Australian call centre if you want to use them as a first responder. The call centre is based in Australia and is staffed by Australian speaking people. It is manned 24/7. They are empowered to follow your wishes on who you want to contact in the event of an emergency.

Can my Mate make and receive phone calls?
A phone call to a preprogramed number can be made by pressing the call button. Phone calls can be received from any phone. Communication is by 2-way hands-free speaker phone with high quality, easy to hear audio. Family & friends can call the Mate, and the Mate can call out to nominated contacts.

How do I set up my Mate with my own settings and information?
All Mates are delivered operational. We will load your Mate with a Telstra SIM card which is registered to Quoll Medical. The contacts you request are preloaded into your Mate. Area limitations, if required, are programmed after a conversation between Quoll staff and the person responsible for the Mate.

What information is included in an alarm sent by the Mate?
The Mate uses GPS and Google maps to send the location of the wearer to your contacts immediately, making it easy for medical personnel and family members to know the exact location where help is needed.

Do you have resellers that I could visit?
